The AI and Robotics Digest is a selection of research and policy news on artificial intelligence and robotics, published by Llull Lab, a Paris-based research laboratory that studies machine minds, machine ethics and embodied robots.
News: three times a day from the public news feeds of Google Research, OpenAI, Microsoft Research, MIT News, the European Commission (Shaping Europe's digital future) and Hugging Face; up to eight items a run, at most two from the same publisher, favouring new research results, safety, evaluation and ethics, robotics and embodiment, scientific uses of AI and public policy over product marketing, events and funding announcements. What an organisation says about its own work is reported as its statement, not as established fact.
Research papers: once a day, up to ten new preprints from the arXiv categories Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, chosen from the latest submissions and summarised from their abstracts. Preprints are not peer reviewed.
Weekly analysis: every Monday, a short reading of the week's items.
Summaries and the analysis are written and checked automatically from the source text. A summary that copies the source, adds a figure the source does not give, or is judged unsupported by an automatic review is not published. They are not individually reviewed by a person; the original is authoritative.
