Education & Public Engagement
Learning as Intervention
Llull Lab contributes to the wider ecosystem of knowledge through workshops, training programs, and public events that span across disciplines and institutions.
We treat pedagogy not as a separate function, but as a core method of intervention: a way to rewire how problems are posed, approached, and reimagined. Through situated learning environments, we cultivate a shared vocabulary for navigating technological change.
Transparency & Reports
Q Reports: Transparency, Method, and Strategic Positioning
Each quarter, Llull Lab publishes a Q Report — a structured, high-resolution overview of the laboratory’s institutional state, research trajectory, and operational priorities.
Q Reports are designed as method-oriented transparency documents, capturing not only what was produced, but how and why specific research directions were pursued.
These reports serve three primary functions:
- Ensuring transparent self-assessment of objectives, outputs, and internal evolution
- Documenting methodological and infrastructural development across research instruments and platforms
- Providing strategic insight into the sociotechnical transformations actively navigated by the laboratory
Typical Contents
- Executive Summary
- Organizational Focus and Research Structure
- Research Instruments and Platform Updates
- Key Metrics (when applicable)
- Next-Quarter Objectives
Scientific articles, peer-reviewed research, and extended theoretical developments are published separately, either as standalone scientific reports or through dedicated publication channels (e.g. Q-PRE). This separation allows Q Reports to remain concise, readable, and strategically focused.
Q Reports may be accompanied by presentations, public discussions, or selective participation in academic and sectoral events, ensuring that Llull Lab’s research remains engaged, visible, and responsive — without conflating reporting, publication, and dissemination into a single format.
